The Application Process:
Where are you going to work?
Find the city you would like to work in and see if there are any dedicated programmes for teaching English. For example, in Japan they have the JET (Japanese English Teacher) Programme. This typically makes the process alot smoother as they have rigid structure and clear guidance for pre and post-moving to Japan and reduces any confusion or mistakes.
The Job Search
If there are no dedicated programmes then begin searching for job boards just like you would for a job in the UK. A lot of them require a profile and CV to upload, which recruiters will then contact you via email or telephone to add you on Wechat, or Line.
The Interview
Look through the job boards on websites such as echinacities. The recruiters will advertise tailored roles to you, and you can liase with them to decide favourable locations, salary, and working hours. Then... Apply!
